The Palms
Phase One of this development at Cana Bay is on a 82 unit corner
lot with optimum views of the second fairway of the Nicklaus
championship golf course. There are four ‘inverted V-shaped’
crescents facing onto the swimming pools and golf course. Most
apartment buildings are totally detached ensuring a peaceful stay,
whilst enabling landscapers design a lush tropical garden
intertwined with the buildings.
The swimming pools at the front of the property are infinity pools,
so you can enjoy uninterrupted views of the expansive landscape
that sweeps down to the fairway. Parking spaces are provided
within easy reach of the rear of each crescent to enable direct
access to your apartment. Each Apartment will have one parking
space for a car as well as space for a motorised golf cart which can
be used both on the golf course as well as to access the other
services around this gated community.
In total the development will have 316 luxury apartments which will
be mostly two-bedroom units with two bathrooms and phase one
above has 72 apartments. The average size of each unit will be
approximately 105m2 (1,130 square feet). The apartments
themselves will be split across low-rise buildings (standard 3 stories
high) to ensure a feeling of comfort and space. There are two
standard apartment layouts and, as you can see on the following
page, what remains of primary importance, is optimising the
outdoor space to maximise the views of the golf course and the
open vistas.
The exterior facades will be expertly
finished with Coralina stone, a unique
natural stone that contains numerous
fossils and minerals, formed over
thousands of years in regions like the
Caribbean.
The buildings themselves will feature natural earth tones, whilst the
apartments will be protected from the midday sun by a combination
of traditional pitched, ceramic-tiled and thatched roofs. Your
enjoyment and comfort is assured by cavity brick walls with
thermo-acoustic insulation. The general flooring throughout the
residences will feature beautiful tiles to compliment the Caribbean
architecture.
